Was watching Major League tonight, quite possibly the best sports movie ever made… not named Caddyshack.

I looked up the actress that played Suzanne Dorn, Roger’s wife.

To my surprise she was 19 when Major League got released, 5 years younger than Charlie Sheen. Not much info on her, she quit acting to start a family.

The 80s were crazy. She looks 30 at least.

Wow !! I thought she was in her late 30's in that movie. Major League - Suzanne Dorn (14)

Wonder if she's aged as bad as Kelly McGillis from the first Top Gun.

That was the first movie with extensive F bombs that me and my little brother ever owned on VHS. We watched it so many times over and over that one time we kept tally marks for every "frick." Think it's like 40 something. They say it. a lot lol.

So for my tenth birthday (92) I had some buddies stay over and we wanted to watch an R movie. I got my brother in law, who was way older, to rent the vhs Major League from the video store in my hometown. We were all baseball fanatics, but my parents would be caught dead before renting us kids an R rated movie.

Well we watched it and had a blast. The party ended and the next day everyone went home. My BIL was gone by then and I was scared to get my parents to take it back. So I stashed it in my closet… until the store started calling for it in a few weeks haha.

My parents weren’t even mad, but did make me pay the late fees with my birthday money. Hard lesson learned.

I love this film, but never would have guessed she was so young until tonight.

It’s such a rewatchable movie, 34 years later. Renee had a great run after this one with the Lethal Weapons, In the Line of Fire, Tin Cup, Thomas Crown Affair… solid resume.
