Where is the crab City in Kenshi? ›

The Crab Villages are two Minor Outposts controlled by the Crab Raiders. They are located in Greenbeach and Stobe's Gamble – the latter can be found on an elevated plateau next to what looks like an overturned and decayed Flats Lagoon platform. Players can purchase Crabs in this location.

Crabs have the slowest movement speed of any animal purchasable in game. They make up for this by having quick and fast high damage attacks which can hit 2 enemies at a time. This makes crabs useful at picking off units separated from their squad.

Although Crab Armour has insane damage mitigation, it comes at the cost of a crippling 50% Dexterity penalty, -10 attack as well as a combat speed penalty. It is suggested to use this armour only when training Assassination, Toughness, Attack, Defense or Dodge.

A low level and low risk area, the Border Zone has a few solid options for players looking to start out their settlement journey in Kenshi. Basically a no-mans-land slotted between the Shek Kingdom and the Holy Nation, the Border Zone is actually the home of several game starts and is therefore quite forgiving.

Swimming off the coast in most places is also safe, however in a couple regions the bodies of water are Acid and will be damaging to characters which are not Hive or Skeleton. When swimming in Acid, Weather protections do not apply. You can double your XP gain by carrying another character while swimming.

Bread is an ingredient for better food. Which is useful if you want to be self sufficient. On a side note, bread used to be a really good money better for starting base, but it was nerfed, which might explain why it's not really valuable anymore.

Does food go bad in Kenshi? ›

Characters of different Races have different rates at which their hunger drains, which is also dependent on any action that a character is doing, i.e., it will drain more slowly if a character is idle and faster if a character is working. It is worth noting that no food items are subject to spoilage in Kenshi.

For players hoping to profit off of Weapon Smithing, Desert Sabres are highly recommended. It costs c. 675 to craft each one at a Weaponsmithing 1 table and sells for c. 942 at the lowest quality, meaning you are able to make a profit right at the start.

Summary. For the Clothing Bench the most profitable items to make are Bandanas.

A foreign sabre has defense bonuses indoors and seem best for my workers in case of base defense.

Locations. Crab Raider patrols can spawn in Greenbeach, Stobe's Garden, The Crags, The Pits, and The Pits East. These towns, outposts, and other locations are controlled by this faction.

Leviathan Coast is found in the northwestern reaches of the map situated north of the Cannibal Plains, The Iron Trail and everything else on the eastern half of the continent. As the name implies, the Leviathans are common in this region, but also several other types of Fauna.

Secret Drug Farm is owned by the Blackshifters and located in Stobe's Gamble. It contains an abundant amount of hashish and hemp, resources which can be sold for massive profits at the nearby city Flats Lagoon.
