Today at lunch, I have to do my least favorite chore: calling Comcast to get a better internet deal. I prefer deep cleaning my bathroom over calling Comcast. My teen said he’d help me and I appreciate his support and hand holding.

.@CityofSeattle needs to outlaw these service agreements between cable operators and the owners of apartment buildings or condo associations. Some of them have sold their souls to Wave (formerly Broadstripe), which is more expensive and provides worse service than Comcast.

Okay, am now on my ninth reboot of this stupid little box. I’ve been at this since about 6:30pm. The ninth time I’ve have had to enter my wifi password. @Xfinity, is this thing ever going to actually work? Can you at least pay whatever ******* ransom it wants so releases my TV?

Good lord, I’ve been trying to set up an @Xfinity Flex box for going on two hours, including almost an hour on the phone with customer service. It has been “connecting to wifi” for the last thirty minutes. I should have gotten a Roku. 😵💫

@dougharenchar @comcast @comcastcares Oh we had WaveG for 3-4 years, switched because the speed was always an issue in our current condo. They would send a technician but it never worked. Comcast promises 600 Mbps & delivers pretty close to that. But the Outages have been unexpected and annoying in last few months

@numist I wish. Underground utilities on my block mean I have 3 options.1. Comcast (oversold)2. AT&T 5Mbps DSL3. MonkeybrainsNo fiber at all. I am, however, hopeful to get a new Monkeybrains antenna soon for faster service.

@BoseService I have Solo 5 TV Sound System w/ Bose Universal Remote, Samsung TV & Comcast Xfinity cable. Bose "universal" remote never connected to TV & cable. Comcast remote did connect to Bose speaker but I had the Comcast box replaced & now it won't connect. Tech said they can't fix it.

@Xfinity @comcast what kind of customer service do you have? I have spoken with 4 agents on the phone all whom have transferred or hung up on me. Then I spoke to the most unhelpful “supervisor”… anyone real out there that can help???
